Day 82 Live Writing: better than nothing

Not the larger than average post I wanted to give you, but here’s a little Anwyn with the promise of some action tomorrow.
Feeling kinda ick (onset of cold) and the aforementioned apathy in the way of giving it my all.
Can’t wait to recharge properly on the weekend. Get some unrelated reading done!
I always find that helps me find my center again.

Wow. Not a good week. Alarm did not go off at all. My body woke on auto pilot at its regular time. Just enough time to feed and head to work.
So no double post, but I’ll do my best to come out swinging this evening with a larger than average page output.
I think even though the forest chapter’s not done yet, I best switch to another character. Change of scenery can be uplifting and keeps it fresh. Anti Apathy therapy.

Another Double Post Day

Tomorrow. Double post.
Today. Brain fried. Not writer’s block. Maybe writer’s … apathy?
Every sentence I wrote today was plodding and forced.
I must have pressed backspace more than I typed letters.
First draft is first draft. Rough, ugly, forgetful.
But this was just bad writing. THAT my dear reader I do not want to purposely send your way.
Early rise, fresh coffee, a new attempt.

Quicky tonight.
Been battling what I call “the gym syndrome” lately.
You know that feeling where you have to DRAG yourself to the gym? Sometimes you end up going through the motions, sometimes you have a break through and the best workout you’ve had in a while.
Been dragging myself to my iphone keyboard more than I’d like recently.
Need a good read to recharge my mental batteries.
Any suggestions?

Got caught up enjoying a lazy day with my wife on Family Day… a holiday for some in Ontario. It also happened to be my birthday. Amazing lasagna dinner with wine made me forget/incapable of writing tonight. Back at it 2moro.
